cropped up in the company concerning their infrastructure. The company’s infrastructure
was such vast that people thought that the company was to be controlled by
Oracle. Seeing things turn worse, the authorities of the company along with
Oracle sat for a mutual understanding. Although Oracle claimed the company to
name it under its own brand, but it had to undergo a lot of process.
Eventually, a voting method was called off. As a result of the votes, oracle
won and Hudson had to change its name to Jenkins.
Still the manner was not fully under control. Oracle
claimed that they wanted to continue with the developmental project of Hudson
and kept Jenkins separately. Therefore, Jenkins and Hudson ran as two separate
entities.
